PageDrift is made by PageDrift LLC, a company registered in Georgia, USA. This policy covers both our website (pagedriftsync.com) and the PageDrift desktop app. Questions or requests: samuel@pagedriftsync.com.
The app never sees or transmits the content of your notes. It makes only these network connections:
| Connection | When | What's shared |
|---|---|---|
| reMarkable's cloud | When syncing your notes | Your own account session, directly between your computer and reMarkable. We are never in the middle and never see your notes or credentials. |
| GitHub | Checking for app updates | Standard request data (your IP address and app version). |
| Loom | Only if you open the tutorial video | Standard video-viewing data (your IP address and playback activity). |
| Our analytics service | While the app runs | Anonymous usage statistics — see section 4. |
| Our bug-report service | Only if you click "Report a problem" | See section 5. |
To understand whether PageDrift is working well, the app sends us anonymous usage statistics: when the app is opened and for how long, how many documents were synced and whether the sync succeeded, which buttons were used, plus the app version and operating system. Each install is identified by a random ID — never your name, email, or computer name. These statistics never include note titles, file names, folder names, or any content from your reMarkable.
If you choose to report a problem, the app sends us: your app version, operating system and chip type, anything you type in the note field, and a recent excerpt of the app's technical log. Before sending, the log is scrubbed on your device — note titles, file names, folder paths, usernames, and email addresses are removed — and you can preview exactly what will be sent. Reports are stored in our database and emailed to us so we can fix the problem. Email us to have a report deleted.
We rely on a small set of providers to run PageDrift: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Google Analytics and Contentsquare (website analytics), PostHog (app usage analytics), GitHub (app updates), and YouTube and Loom (video hosting). Each receives only the data described above, and none is permitted to use it for their own marketing.
We keep signup emails until you ask to be removed, and usage statistics and bug reports for as long as they are useful for improving PageDrift. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you — just email samuel@pagedriftsync.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
PageDrift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it on the website or email signed-up users.
